Fantastic album earns Raymond a Silver Disc...

Raymond Chuchuk's album "LETS DANCE" reached new levels in a surprise ceremony at the Highland Hotel in Strathpeffer, Scotland on the 31st of December 2005 when he was presented with a silver disc for reaching the milestone of 50,000 sales!

Taken completely by surprise Raymond and his fans were over the moon when the award was handed over by resident host Mike Hudson on behalf of Savoy Records. The incredible sales figure was immortalised in the form of a beautiful silver disc in a presentation case, bringing home to both Raymond and his excited fans the popularity of the "LETS DANCE" album.

Originally recorded in 1993 the album has sold all over the world and includes popular tracks such as THE ROAD AND THE MILES TO DUNDEE, AMAZING GRACE, LOCH LOMOND and many more popular and much loved tunes performed by Raymond. "LETS DANCE" is sought after by many people who love the amazing sound of Raymond Chuchuk as well as the crowds that watch him perform at different venues across the Scottish Highlands.

The silver disc award brought a flurry of television and newspaper publicity, with Raymond appearing on Grampian TV's prime news programme "North Tonight" and the BBC's "Reporting Scotland". Top Scottish newspapers were also eager to interview Raymond and reports and articles appeared in "The Press & Journal" , the "Scottish Daily Mail" and the "Glasgow Herald".
